President
General Motors
Mark Reuss has been president of General Motors since January 2019. He leads GM’s vision of an all-electric future through its innovative technologies, products and initiatives.
Reuss directs the following global staff Product Programs and Safety; Battery Strategy including Development and Procurement, Research and Development; Manufacturing and Product Engineering; Purchasing and Supply Chain; Design; Motorsports; Markets including regional operations (North America, South America, China and GM International); Commercial Operations; Portfolio Planning; Quality; Marketing and GM Defense.
From 2013-2018, Reuss was executive vice president, Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain, and led program management of GM cars, trucks and crossovers worldwide. He served as president of General Motors North America from 2009-2013, responsible for GM’s performance, manufacturing, portfolio and dealer network.
Reuss also served as GM’s vice president of global engineering, where he created and led GM’s Performance Division in 2001 and was responsible for GM’s racing vehicles, including the V-Series Cadillacs and SS Chevrolets.
He was born and raised in Metro Detroit and is deeply committed to revitalizing the region through service to education, community and philanthropy organizations.
Reuss is a mechanical engineer who began his GM career as a student intern in 1983. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. Reuss is GM’s Key Executive at Duke University, and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Cranbrook Schools, Horizons Upward Bound, Detroit Workforce Development, the Detroit Education Coalition and the CEO Leadership Group on Regional Economic Development. He served as the 2020 chair of Alliance for Automotive Innovation and is a founding member of GM’s Inclusion Advisory Board. Reuss joined the board of The Henry Ford in 2016 and was named board chair in 2023.

What is Auto Summit?
The J.D. Power Auto Summit is the premier automotive retail event at the NADA Show. This one-day event features key industry thought leaders, real-time auto industry data and cutting-edge insights needed to make informed decisions with lasting impacts. Throughout the event, attendees can meet and network with leaders who are shaping the future of this rapidly changing industry, including dealers, OEMs, agencies and suppliers. It's also the exclusive home to the J.D. Power U.S. Automotive Franchise Assessment which provides a quantitative performance assessment across each automotive brand in the U.S. market.
Who attends the event?
Dealer Principals, OEMs, media, suppliers and other automotive industry C-Level experts.
Why should I attend?
For access to the exclusive industry insights and analytics into the state of the industry, EV adoption, digital retail, supply and inventory as well as the annual live Franchise Assessment only available onsite to registered attendees.
Will there be a virtual option?
The J.D. Power Auto Summit will not be streamed online. Join us in person for exclusive content, latest data, engaging discussions with industry leaders and valuable networking. Don't miss this event!
When and where will Auto Summit take place?
Auto Summit will take place in Las Vegas, NV at The Wynn hotel in the Lafite Ballroom on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
What time will the event start?
Registration and networking breakfast will open at 7:00am local time.

Are there discounted hotel room block rates available?
If you are attending the NADA Show, please book your room via the NADA Show site.
If you are only attending the J.D. Power Auto Summit, please visit one of the nearby hotels too book your room.
REGISTRATION
How much does it cost to attend Auto Summit?
Register now for $695, a $200 savings off, for a limited time only!
Standard rate is $795, if you register before the end of January. The rate increases to $895 on February 3, 2025.
What does my registration include?
Registration is valid on February 3, 2026 only.
It includes access to all sessions, including the highly anticipated Franchise Assessment, networking meals (breakfast, lunch & breaks), reception and speaker presentations (access is provided after responding to post-event survey).
What are the accepted payment methods?
All registration fees for the event are in U.S. dollars. Payment will be processed using a valid credit card from one of the following options only: American Express, MasterCard, or Visa.
I have a promo code; how can I register?
Enter your promotion code on registration page and select your attendee type.
My promo code isn't working. What should I do?
Please ensure you are selecting the correct attendee type (i.e. Sponsor). If that is still not working, please contact us at autoevents@jdpa.com
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to autoevents@jdpa.com.
The refund policy is as follows:
- On or before November 14, 2025: Full refund, less the 3.5% processing and $75 handling fees
- November 15, 2025 or later: No refund will be honored.
Are attendee substitutions permitted?
Yes, substitutions may be transferred to another colleague from the same company at no additional charge.
All requests must be submitted via email to autoevents@jdpa.com.
Registration transfers to a company different from the original registration will not be granted. Substitutions are not confirmed until both the original and substitute attendee receive written confirmation from the J.D. Power Events Team.
Required information for a registration transfer:
- Full name of the original registrant
- Full name, title, company and email address of substitute registrant
- Original registrant's confirmation number
Will my badge be mailed to me ahead of time?
No, you will receive your attendee badge onsite at the Auto Summit registration desk starting at 7:00am PT outside of the Lafite Ballroom at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel.
Does my registration include access to the NADA Welcome Reception?
No, your registration does not include access to the NADA Welcome Reception. For more information on the reception, please visit the NADA Show website.
Do I need to print my badge?
No, all event badges will be available for pick-up onsite at the registration desk. Badge pick-up is required to access all program inclusions.
ONSITE INFORMATION
When and where can I pick up my badge?
You can pick up your badge at the registration desk, located outside of the Lafite Ballroom at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel on February 3, 2026 starting at 7:00am PT.
You may be required to show a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport.
What if I lose my badge?
Please visit the registration desk to receive a replacement. Only one (1) replacement badge will be printed free of charge. For additional replacement badges, a fee of $75 will be collected.
Is there an event app?
No, the event does not have a mobile app.
What kind of weather should I anticipate?
The average temperatures in Las Vegas, NV will be mild in February. We can expect highs of 66°F and lows of 33°F.
Please note that the meetings will be held indoors, so plan accordingly.
Will Wi-Fi be available?
Yes, Wi-Fi will be available throughout the conference.
